Once an Army Nurse Corps officer completes a term of service, whether through retirement or separation, there comes the task of deciding what to do next. The Daniel K. Inouye Graduate School of Nursing of the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences invites applications for a full time (tenured or tenure-track) nursing faculty position. This private, accredited, four-year college focuses exclusively on the field of health care. Located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the College attracts a select group of more than 1,700 students to study with faculty who are experts in their specialty areas. Oklahoma State University Medical Center 

OSU Medical Center, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is the nation’s largest osteopathic teaching facility, with 11 residency and 9 fellowship programs that train residents in primary care and sub-specialties.

Georgia Veteran to Nurse Educator Fellowship

Deans and Directors of the University System of Georgia Nursing Programs are promoting the state of Georgia as a “Preferred Destination for Nurse Veterans” via a Veteran to Nurse Educator Fellowship.  The program is designed for nurse Veterans, many of whom may have been teaching throughout their careers but lack exposure and experience in civilian academic settings, institution-specific technology, and pedagogical knowledge and skills. 

 

US Department of Labor Women Veterans Service

The DOL is committed to expanding opportunities for all American workers, including veterans (or transitioning service members) who are trying to take what they've learned protecting our Nation and put it to use at home.
