The fifth annual LTC Isabelle Bagin Memorial Lecture will be presented on Friday 22 October at 1100 EDT. This year’s lecturer will be Elizabeth Bridges, PhD, RN, CCNS, FCCM, FAAN, Professor, University of Washington School of Nursing and Clinical Nurse Researcher at UW Medical Center. Following her 30 years in the US Air Force Nurse Corps, Dr. Bridges’ current research is related to en-route critical care and the integration of cardiovascular monitoring into the care of critically ill/injured. She also focuses on the translation of her research into practice, working closely with clinical nurses at UWMC to bring evidence to the bedside. She will share her research trajectory in what promises to be a very interesting lecture this year.
The Bagin lecture series is produced by the Uniformed University of Health Sciences through a grant from the Army Nurse Corps Association in memory of its late member, LTC (Ret.) Isabelle Bagin.
