The Army Nurse Corps Association strongly opposes the proposed change to 34 CFR 668.2. Removing nursing from the definition of professional degrees will create new barriers for nursing students, deepen the workforce shortage, and impact the care of our Service Members and Veterans. We urge the Department of Education to restore the previous language to protect the future of nursing and support national health and military healthcare.
