2016 Convention Research/Performance Improvement Showcase

At the ANCA convention 21-24 September 2016 in San Diego, we would like to showcase research and performance improvement (PI) projects from ANCA members; civilian and military nurses working in military medical facilities; and from any Active Component, USAR and NG Army Nurse Corps officer no matter where they work.  Such a showcase was well received at our last convention!

Guidelines

Posters may be submitted:

• From any ANCA member related to any nursing research or performance improvement project done in any location.
• From any Active duty nurse corps member in USAR, National Guard or Active component from work done in any location and from any Department of Defense civilian or military nurse working in a Health Readiness Platform.
• This is a showcase, so posters may reflect work already presented at another venue.

• Intent to showcase must be received by 15 August 2016.

Poster authors need not attend the convention to have their poster displayed.

Posters must be on 16” x 20” or 24” x 30” poster board thick enough to stand alone on an easel.  Foam poster board is recommended.  A text abstract (250 words or less) and PDF electronic file of the poster is to be sent to the contact.

Posters must be brought to or sent to the convention site.  If sent, they must be mailed directly to the convention hotel by 19 September 2016.  They will be displayed during the convention from 21-24 September 2016.  Address the poster to Jeri Graham, ANCA Convention, Marriott Mission Valley Hotel, 8757 Rio San Diego Dr., San Diego, CA 92108.  Posters will be mailed back to authors if requested and an addressed, postage-paid envelope is included.

Content of Posters

Any research or performance improvement project related to nursing care performed since 2013 to present. No specific format for content is required.
